May is here, bringing fresh possibilities and a reminder that great things rarely come from staying comfortable. In business and in life, the willingness to take chances separates those who grow from those who stay stuck.

This month's quote speaks to the heart of entrepreneurship and innovation: It's not about never failing, but it's about never letting fear keep you from trying. The most successful people aren't those who never stumble; they're the ones who keep moving forward anyway.

As May unfolds, we want to hear from you: What's one opportunity you're going to say "yes" to this month? Share in the comments below!

Growth is a good sign for any business, but it can quietly create gaps in your insurance coverage if your policy has not kept up with the changes.

Two areas that can often get overlooked are new equipment purchases and larger contracts.

If your business has invested in new machinery, tools, or technology, those assets may not be reflected in your current property limits. And if you have taken on bigger clients or contracts this year, there may be liability requirements or additional insured endorsements that your existing policy does not already include.

These gaps are worth catching before a loss or a contract dispute brings them to the surface. Give us a call, and we are happy to review your current coverage.

If you’re turning 65 soon and are unsure about what it means to enroll in Medicare, you are not alone. One of the most common questions we hear from those nearing retirement is around the timeline for signing up for Medicare.

So, we wanted to share a few important reminders to help you stay on track:

✅Know your enrollment window. Your initial enrollment window lasts for seven months — three months before your 65th birthday, your birthday month, and three months after your birthday. Enrolling early in this timeframe can help ensure your coverage begins right when you need it.

✅Understand how to sign up. Some individuals are automatically enrolled in Original Medicare, while others need to take action themselves to enroll in Original Medicare. This often depends on whether you are already receiving Social Security benefits.

✅Do not delay without a plan. Waiting too long to enroll without qualifying coverage can result in delayed coverage start dates and ongoing late-enrollment penalties.

✅Be aware of other options. If you are still working and covered under an employer plan, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period that can allow you to defer your enrollment. However, missing all enrollment windows can limit your options and increase costs, so it's best to clarify this early.

Medicare decisions can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate them alone. Whether you are approaching 65 or are simply evaluating your options, contact us for guidance tailored to your situation.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a good time to remember that support might already be closer than you think. Many health plans include resources that can help with stress, sleep, and everyday mental wellness, and you don’t have to navigate them alone.

We encourage you to reach out to a licensed therapist or mental health professional if you notice that your day-to-day activities are being regularly impacted by your mental health, or if you feel like you need or want help.

If you have questions about your plan, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you.

As life insurance agents, we are often asked about the different types of riders individuals can add to their life insurance policies. Life insurance riders are additional layers of coverage that can help you customize your coverage so it aligns more closely with your needs.

One such rider is the Return of Premium (ROP) rider. Swipe for an overview of what it does, why it matters, how it works, and who it may be best for.

Have questions or want to see what it might look like for your policy? Reach out. We’re here to help you review your options and plan with confidence.
