After 24yrs as an licensed Investment Professional, I started this phase of my professional journey, in April, to become a Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Manager. And this morning, (5 months later) I successfully passed the Exam to carry this Designation… If I sound different it’s because I might sound like an Accredited Wealth Manager!! 😊 (just kidding) but I am really excited to achieve this designation and position myself as one of the primary resources/advisors for Athletes and Entertainers across the region.

So you wanna know what’s going on with the banks today? Here’s my take ….The Silicon Valley Bank took on millions of deposits in cash. When they take cash like that, they don’t just sit it an account. Instead they take the money and reinvest it into treasury bonds. So when people go and try to take their money back out of the banks (particularly large sums) the bank has to sell treasury bonds in order to make good on the cash, but because interest rates have risen so quickly the bonds that needed to be sold were worth far less than expected so they didn’t have the money to cover….
