We will be closed Thursday April 16th 2026 through Sunday April 19th, 2026 to start the recovery process of the end ot tax season. We will start our normal hours on Monday April 20th, 2026. 8 to 5 Monday through Thursday, 8 to noon on Fridays. Thank you to all of our clients, friends, and especially Family. For three full time, one commissioned, and 2 part time employees we just finished a combined 140th tax seasons. Thank you again.

NOTICE: We are now past March 21 of the current tax season. Our drop off policy is now in effect. We will do our best to complete return dropped off after this date but there is no guarantee this will be accomplished due to the volume of returns to be done. 🚨 IRS Update: The “Check is in the Mail” era is officially over🚨

Tax season is here—make sure your banking info is ready to go so you aren't left waiting months for your money. 🏦✨

The IRS is moving full-steam ahead with mandatory electronic payments and refunds. Here’s the "too long; didn't read" version of the new Fact Sheet 2026-02:

🚫 No more paper refunds. If you don't provide direct deposit info, your refund will be stuck in "limbo" for weeks while you wait for a mailed notice.

🚫 EFTPS for individuals is ending. Existing accounts work for now, but everyone is moving to the IRS Online Account system soon.

🏢 Businesses must stay digital. Cash and cards are strictly prohibited for Federal Tax Deposits.

ATTENTION: In order to deduct the Overtime Premium on your 2025 tax return, your EMPLOYER must either notate the qualifying amount of premium in Box 14 of your W2 or provide you with a written statement of the qualifying amount. Simply providing your final check stub does not appear to be sufficent documentation. For employees with tips, the qualifing amount should be reported on your W2 in box 7.

BOI Reporting Rules - Off Again!

The Fifth Circuit has vacated its order of Monday that had lifted the nationwide preliminary injunction against enforcement of the beneficial ownership information reporting rules. In reversing itself, the merits panel of the Fifth Circuit said that vacating Monday's order was necessary "to preserve the constitutional status quo while the [court] considers the parties' weighty substantive arguments."

So there currently is no BOI reporting requirement in play.

Stay tuned. This whole mess isn't over. Hopefully the Congress (the group that got us into this mess) will take action soon and move the deadline off for a year or so to give time for the courts to deal with this issue.
