Last Friday, we were proud to sponsor the WNY Women's Foundation's Summit as a Trailblazer, our first time participating in this incredible event.

Bringing 900 women leaders together creates a powerful energy, but what stood out most was how intentional the experience felt. Through small-group introductions, meaningful conversations, and shared learning, the unique way the event was formatted made a large gathering feel remarkably personal.

Our firm was represented by five female leaders and we covered every track, leaving with new connections, fresh perspectives, and valuable takeaways. What our team is bringing into our 6-month plans: the power of authenticity, the impact of precise language, the role of AI, the difference between mentors and sponsors, and how overwhelm can often be a sign of over-functioning.

What a night!

We were honored to sponsor this year's Women's Business Center at Canisius University's Ignite Awards and spend last Friday evening celebrating such an inspiring community of women business owners, leaders, and entrepreneurs.

The team at The Women's Business Center absolutely knocked it out of the park with the new cocktail-party format! The energy in the room was incredible, and our team loved connecting with so many amazing women there.

Feeling energized after a fantastic evening at University at Buffalo School of Management's 2026 Accounting Awards Celebration last night.

Bringing along a group of our own UB alumni (now valued members of our team!) and current student & incoming summer intern made the evening even more meaningful as we celebrated the strength of the UB accounting community and its lasting impact.

A special congratulations to Professor Emeritus Alex Ampadu on being named 2026 Accountant of the Year, recognizing an incredible 35 years of dedication to teaching and mentorship.

Well done, UB! We're always proud to be part of this community.

Connecting for a Cause! Last night, we teamed up with Beta Alpha Psi - SUNY Buffalo | Zeta Theta Chapter for a night of giving back: making blankets for dogs at Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. It was perfect timing to come together as students head into finals and we come off a crazy tax season! We always look forward to a chance to connect with this group, and this event is a favorite! Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Who says financial statements can't be fun?

This week, we partnered with BOMA Buffalo to host a "Back to the Basics" Lunch & Learn right in our building. BS&P's Matthew Mernan, CPA, CVA took center stage to talk budgeting, balance sheets and P&Ls in the property management landscape. With the help of a few well-timed sports references and even an appearance from Jimmy Neutron, the group was ready for the final hands-on challenge where they put their knowledge to work.

We're proud to support BOMA Buffalo in delivering education that builds confidence, strengthens decision-making, and helps professionals do their best work.
