Each year during income tax season, the Bucyrus and Upper Sandusky offices of Mizick Miller & Company have “dress down” days. The cost to the staff to “dress down” is a donation to a non-profit organization in which the staff has collectively chosen. This year the staff chose to support Open Door Resource Center in Upper Sandusky. Zach Chatlain and Madison Gahring of Mizick Miller presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Scott Moore.
The purpose of Open Door Resource Center is to connect Wyandot County families with resources and help them set goals for the future. In 2025 they served over 3,500 households, helped nearly 1,000 people with their clothing pantry, fed over 300 families each month, and helped over 150 people gain life skills in their classes.
