So tomorrow is April 15th the official last day of the tax season. If your taxes are not done you can still file.

April 15th is approaching fast. If you need more time to get your taxes together ask your preparer to complete an extension for you. Don't stress yourself.

If you have questions about your taxes make sure your tax preparer gets you the answers. If your preparer cannot get the answers for you maybe it's time to find another preparer. You should feel satisfied when completing your taxes. IT IS A BIG DEAL

Please give your preparer time to complete your taxes accurately. If you drop off your taxes just be mindful there are clients that come in and sit to have their taxes done. We try and get drop offs done as quickly as possible.

Just because your refund has not been approved does not mean your tax preparer didn't complete your taxes accurately. Tax returns with earn income credit and child tax credit take a little longer to process. Please be patient.

Don't expect your tax preparer to come up with numbers for you. Do your record keeping throughout the year and then you will not have to guess.

Yes the IRS has started accepting tax returns, but if you are receiving earned income credit, refunds are not currently being processed.

If you are struggling to find a tax preparer go to the IRS website IRS. gov and you can search for preparers in your area. You can check the Directory of Federal Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications

There are several new credits/deductions this year and things are not on the W2 as it should be for overtime and tip income so please be considerate of your tax preparer as they try to complete your return as quickly and accurate as they can.
