BIG NEWS FOR STUDENT LOAN BORROWERS

30,000 borrowers just had their loans canceled as part of the Sweet v. McMahon class-action settlement — totaling $12 billion in discharged debt.

These borrowers were defrauded by predatory colleges and filed claims under the Borrower Defense to Repayment program.

About 48,000 more are still awaiting a decision.
