Hey Neighbors!
Grab your rakes, leaf blowers, and gardening tools because we're helping our neighbors! Nov 7, 2026 will be the start of an annual day of helping one another with those yard projects that need an extra hand!
The purpose of this day is to help those who have fallen behind, need help getting their yard to a place where it’s easier to maintain, or who don’t have the physical capability to complete yard work on their own. This is not meant for those wanting to upgrade their landscaping or make their yard extra fancy. These projects should be something we can tackle in about an hour or less with a few helping hands. If you have a need that may fall outside of this criteria, ask anyway and we will see how much we can help.
The more volunteers we get, the more neighbors we can help! Please reach out to CJ at [email protected] or through our social media pages ASAP in order to be put on the volunteer list or if you or a neighbor is needing help with a yard. If you’re inquiring about being put on the list to receive help, please send a picture along with a description of the work you are needing help with! We can’t guarantee that we will be able to help with everyone, as it will depend heavily on how many volunteers we get. We will prioritize those who’s needs are more urgent, then help with others as volunteer numbers will allow.
Requests for yard help must be submitted no later than October 24th. Volunteers, please reach out by October 24th as well so that we know how many neighbors we can help, but we will take new volunteers until the day of the event!
We're so excited to be more involved in our little community to help each other and get more connected! Happy Fall!!
