We are looking for an organized Tax Professional and future leader, who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients. The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions and take initiative while staying focused on results and the performance objectives of this job is a must. Staff development skills, ability to lead a team of professionals by example while also possessing solid time management skills are important as well.

Required Experience and Skills
CPA or CPA Candidate
Bachelors in Accounting, Masters in Taxation (preferred)
2 - 10+ years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations
Comprehensive understanding of U.S. based income tax laws
Income tax research experience and skills
Strong leadership skills
Strong management skills able to lead a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
Willingness to work at least 4 hours that overlap with the Mountain Standard Time zone (MST)

Job Title: Plan Takeoff Specialist
Location: Remote working for a U.S. Based Company

Company Overview:
Clearview Takeoffs is a Utah based consulting company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget to a variety of construction contractors. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plan Takeoff Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Plan Takeoff Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction phase by analyzing and quantifying plans so that we can estimate material quantities and costs accurately. The successful candidate will collaborate with the estimating team to support the development of competitive and comprehensive bids. .

Responsibilities:
Plan Analysis: Review plans and aerial shots of sites and specifications to identify and quantify square footage of landscape types (Sod, landscape beds)
Work closely with estimators to understand project requirements and constraints.
Quantity Takeoffs: Perform detailed takeoffs for various elements, including but not limited to Landscape areas, irrigation systems, plant counts, asphalt. Utilize takeoff software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process.
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the estimating team to convert quantity takeoffs into cost estimates.
Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of takeoffs, calculations, and assumptions.
Prepare and present takeoff summaries and reports for review by project stakeholders.
Communication: Effectively communicate with project teams to address inquiries and provide clarification on takeoff details.
Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
Proven experience in plan takeoffs
Proficiency in construction takeoff software preferred but not required (e.g., Bluebeam, Plan swift, Near Maps
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in takeoffs.

Compensation and hours
$4-$7/Hr DOE
This position will be a 1099 independent contractor and will require a computer and good stable internet connection.
Hours will be determined by the independent contractor and worked as required to hit deadlines outlined by the estimating team but it is expected to overlap half of the work day in the Mountain Standard Time zone or 9AM - 5PM.

Ok so 2 hours ago we said we would be hiring in the near future and it turns out it was nearer than we thought! We have 2 openings for bookkeepers at a top 80 U.S. Public Accounting firm. The position pays $5/hour and is paid twice a month. You will be reporting to a Philippine supervisor who is a CPA and spends half of their time in bookkeeping and half doing audits. It's a great team and will have opportunties for growth for individuals that can do a good job. Good english speaking and writing is a must. We are currently hiring an Audit Staff and an Audit Manager.

Are you excited about working in Audit but tired of living at the office? While B2a CPA’s Partners all live along the Wasatch Front in Utah, B2a CPAs maintains a virtual office with everyone working primarily from home.

In addition to the salary, B2a provides all employees with cell phones, internet, computer, and software to support the home office.

All B2a staff are required to participate in on-site audit work at the Client’s offices located primarily in Utah and surrounding states. Each B2a Team member can expect an estimated 13 weeks of onsite fieldwork each year. The onsite testwork varies between 3-5 workdays at the clients’ offices with some of those including overnight stays. All business travel expenses are paid for by the company.
