Before raising HOA assessments for 2027, ask whether the community is getting full value for what it is already paying.

Bundled services nobody is using. Vendor contracts that have not been reviewed. Insurance renewals that show up in January instead of October.

One California board cut her community’s costs to one third of what they were paying before. That money went back to the community instead of overhead.

🚨 Imagine discovering your HOA is $180,000 short—just one year before a major replacement project.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. And HOA payment fraud does not always come from the outside.

One Florida HOA lost $168,000 to their own property manager. Another community lost money because no one was checking whether the financial reports matched the bank statements.
