The TNCBA is a Christian bass club whose focus is Christ and discipling others. We fish the East TN. We conduct 10 tornaments a year plus a classic.

The Tennessee Christian Bass Anglers is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1996. We are a different type of Bass Club altogether. Our objective is to make better fisherman by sharing information and how-to instructions to all members.Our reward is sharing techniqes of Bass fishing with beginners and skilled fisherman alike. Membership requirements are similar to other bass clubs, you must be at least 16 years of age. We do not require members to belong to any particular church or denomination. We do share our faith and beliefs at every meeting and conduct a short devotional along with prayer request. We strive to be better fishermen and we also strive to become better people. Our members include individuals from vaired walks of life including factory workers, small business owners, teachers, preachers, accountants, retirees, and ect. All entry fees received, with the exception of club expenses, are donated to charity or used to help those less fortunate in time of need. Most monies are used around Christmas time primarily in conjuntion with childern's causes. The Lord has blessed us with over $30,000 locally, in the past 15 years. The Club won the 1998 Southern Division Community Service Award present by the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. We have had the honor of being a large and influnencial Club setting a model that has sponned other Christian clubs. If you are interested in the Tennessee Christian Bass Anglers come to one of our meetings. We meet every second Monday night of the month at the Sullivan County Court House in Blountville at 7:00PM. We open and close with prayer, have devotions, and a bassin' how to session at every meeting. The meeting are a lot of fun with good Christian fellowship and we all learn more about bass fishing. Guest are always welcome and you don't have to be a member, or come with one, to attend our meetings.

“Hodges and Feagins Dominate Douglas!”

A cool Fall morning greeted the TN Christian Bass Anglers as they launched their boats on Douglas Lake to kick off the 26-27 season. As bass are in transition mode, reports out of Douglas pointed to an abundance of small bass and kickers are at a premium. The reports from anglers at the weigh-in echoed the junk fishing that often accompanies fall fishing…crankbaits, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, topwater, etc.

While high skies and lights winds forced anglers to make adjustments, it was the team of Andy Hodges and Lynn Feagins that put the pieces together the best with a five bass limit weighing 12.21 lbs. and claiming first place. The second place team of Cody Dison and Keith Dison junk fished their way to a five bass limit that weighed 10.75 lbs. Rounding out the top three was the team of David Crockett and Joey Stover with a limit of bass weighing 8.57 lbs. Joey anchored their bag with the big bass of the tournament, a 3.20 lbs. smallmouth.

Thank you to everyone that joined us today on Douglas Lake. The 2026-2027 season is off and rolling…our next stop will be November 7th on South Holston Lake. Come out and join us for great fishing and fellowship!

It's time to get things rolling for the 2026-2027 TNCBA Tournament Series...and to kick things off we are headed to Douglas Lake this coming Saturday. Please use the link below to register:

After submitting the Google Form you will b presented with a Zeffy link where you can pay your entry fee online or you may pay your entry fee at weigh-in. TNCBA memberships are annual memberships and are applicable from Jan. 1st-Dec. 31st. If you have purchased a membership already this year, you are good until Jan 1st. If you purchase a membership between now and the end of the year, your membership will be good for the remainder of 2026 and all of 2027.

Since we are starting a new season everyone will need to pay the $10 Big Bass entry fee to be eligible for big bass prizes. If you have any questions, please contact me at (423) 833-6254.

“Feagins Finishes Off Watauga for Classic Win!”

Your 2026 Ron Poss Memorial - TNCBA Classic winner is Lynn Feagins!

The weather wasn’t going to take it easy on the TN Christian Bass Anglers as they were greeted this morning by the first real cold front of the Fall with wind and rain. While reports focused on how tough the bite was throughout the day, it was those who relied on a crankbait that reported the most consistent bite and Lynn Feagins did it better than the rest to the tune of a three bass limit for 8.07 lbs. Lynn also claimed big fish on the day with a 3.76 lbs. smallmouth.

A huge thank you to Dale Fleenor from TackleBox Boone Lake for this awesome trophy, a refinished blade and custom crafted handle, for our classic champion!

The top five was rounded out by Cody Dison in second with 6.93 lbs., Samuel Ellison in third with 6.32 lbs., Josh Olinger in fourth with 5.99 lbs., and Eric Pope in fifth with 5.36 lbs.

Thank you to all of our partners, sponsors, and those who have made donations to help make this a great year. With our new look schedule, it’s a quick turn around as we kick off the 26-27 season next Saturday on Douglas Lake. Come join us for some great fishing and fellowship!

Hampton, TN is under a high wind warning Saturday with winds increasing to 20-35mph and gusts up to 70mph...these conditions will create hazardous conditions on Watauga Lake. Due to the high winds that are forecasted for this Saturday on Watauga, the TNCBA Tournament Committee has voted to postpone the TNCBA Classic to Saturday, October 17th.

Mark your calendars...it's time to kickoff a new TN Christian Bass Anglers season. (Schedule Below) The coming TNCBA season will begin at the end of October and run through the end of May. There will be 10 regular season events that includes an out-of-town trip to a new fishery for the TNCBA, and these 10 events will determine our TNCBA Team of the Year. The season will then wrap up with an AOY points paying classic on May 22nd that will determine our 2026-2027 TNCBA Angler of the Year! (A detailed schedule will be posted later.)
