I had the pleasure of spending the past two days at the Business of Pride Symposium at the Raymond James in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by an incredible community of advisors and leaders committed to serving with purpose.
I was honored to serve as a panelist on the Top Advisor panel, where we discussed what it means to build a successful practice while showing up authentically, and how we can better support and serve the LGBTQ+ community through thoughtful, inclusive financial planning.
A highlight of the experience was meeting Carl Nassib, former NFL player and one of the first openly gay athletes in the league, whose visibility and advocacy have had a powerful impact on the community. And yes, we even managed to fit in a conversation about our favorite Taylor Swift songs.
