The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, corporate tax, forecasting, budgeting, audit and advisory services. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Candidate will work at our Troy, MI office.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual attest process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Filing of corporate tax returns; 1065, 1120, 1120S
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
2+ years' of professional accounting experience
CPA preferred but not required
