Piaker & Lyons is proud to announce that, effective January 1, 2026, Jonathon R. Shattuck, CPA, has been promoted to Principal with the Firm.

Jonathon rejoined Piaker & Lyons in 2022 as a manager after gaining valuable experience with an international CPA firm. Since returning, he has played an active role on the firm’s Technology Committee and Workflow Committee and chairs the firm’s Accounting & Auditing Committee.

A Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York, Jonathon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University and his Master of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a member of both the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Jonathon’s areas of expertise include accounting and auditing for closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans, as well as taxation for closely held businesses, consolidated corporate taxation, and financial reporting. He works extensively with clients in manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, and construction contracting.
