Aspire Business Network and Andrews University are proud to co‑organize a high‑level executive workshop for senior leaders of Ghana Adventist Health Services. This strategic initiative is designed to train, educate, and build collaborative partnerships that will strengthen leadership capacity, improve governance, and advance mission‑driven, sustainable healthcare delivery across the network.

We are honored to have Dr. Loren B. Hamel among the distinguished leaders invited to contribute to this effort. With over four decades of experience in clinical practice, hospital leadership, and system‑wide healthcare management, Dr. Hamel brings a powerful blend of operational insight and values‑based leadership.

His background as former CEO of Lakeland Health and later president of Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan offers Ghana Adventist Health Services practical lessons in growing hospitals, expanding outpatient and telehealth services, managing complex mergers, and aligning culture and mission across large organizations.

Dr. Hamel’s “Bring Your Heart to Work” leadership philosophy and his deep commitment to faith‑based service resonate strongly with the mission of Ghana Adventist Health Services. His participation in this workshop will not only enrich the learning experience for our senior leaders but also help catalyze strategic partnerships and collaborative practices that can take Adventist healthcare in Ghana to the next level.

Aspire Business Network is pleased to announce that, in July, we will host senior executives from Ghana Adventist Health Services (GHAS) in collaboration with Andrews University for a focused training program and a series of strategic engagements.

This initiative is designed to promote meaningful collaboration through the exchange of ideas, shared best practices, and mutual learning. As part of their visit, GHAS leadership will engage with local government officials and prominent business leaders, including executives from leading healthcare systems such as AdventHealth, Corewell Health, and others.

These engagements are intended to facilitate strategic partnerships in education, medical equipment, and funding opportunities.

This effort reflects Aspire’s ongoing commitment to leveraging strategic partnerships to strengthen healthcare systems and expand access to quality resources across communities.

We look forward to the impact of this collaboration and the opportunities it will create for all stakeholders involved.
