RAC is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. Robertson, Andreoli & Covington, P.C. is a public accounting firm in Bay Minette, Alabama dedicated to supporting our clients which include small to medium sized businesses. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data for multiple companies. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the cash receipts and cash disbursements, processing payroll, and conducting other tasks related to finance including tax forms. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to clear financial reports. Our ideal candidate has worked as a professional Bookkeeper for at least five years and has experience managing large bank accounts and multiple companies.

Responsibilities for Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Responsible for financial record keeping including journal entries of multiple companies
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Record cash receipts and disbursements
• Ensure accuracy in general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accounting software
• Payroll processing including:
• Quarterly payroll tax reporting
• Scheduling payroll tax deposits
• Preparation of annual W-2’s
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns
• Form 1099 processing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Associate’s degree in accounting or related experience in field
• 1+ year of supervisory experience
• 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Payroll and sales tax experience required
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Understand how to balance and reconcile large bank accounts
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines

The Internal Revenue Service has launched its website today that allows individuals who are not required to file tax returns to enter payment information for the Economic Impact Payment.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT INFORMATION IF YOU MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

**Individuals who filed a federal income tax for 2018 or 2019

**Individuals who receive Social Security retirement, survivors,
or Social Security Disability Insurance benefits

**Individuals who receive Railroad Retirement benefits

Steps to receive the Economic Impact Payment if you haven't filed a tax return for 2018 or 2019, and aren't receiving Social Security, SS Disability Income or Railroad Retirement benefits. This payment is also referred to as "stimulus checks" or "coronavirus relief."
