Yesterday I spent the afternoon talking to retirees about taxes! If you are retired in Ridgefield Charles hosts a great group.

Who knew we could make tax planning so exciting!

I had the chance to team up with Ashley Gebhardt CPA, PLLC for a year-end tax session for my retiree group yesterday.

The room was full and folks had such great questions and showed a ton of curiosity.

Man oh man, do I love these in-person educational events!

Hi Friends! I am beyond grateful for all the incredible referrals I've received this year from both friends and loyal clients. The support has been truly overwhelming, in the best possible way! It means so much to me.

However, as a one-person operation with no support staff, I’ve reached a point where I need to ensure that the high level of service I promise to each of you doesn’t get compromised. Because of this, I’ll no longer be able to accept new clients with a completion deadline before April 15th. I’m more than happy to add any new inquiries to the waitlist for an extended timeline.

Wow! January already?!

The last few months flew by, but I am back in the office and ready to tackle the 2023 tax year!

A few important announcements -

Engagement letters and tax organizers will be going out in the next week. These will go over what to expect for the filing season and provide a template for collecting your tax information.

If you are a business client and need 1099's please reach out ASAP so we can get them filed before the end of month deadline. If you are a business client and don't know what a 1099 is - you should also reach out ASAP!

If you need some help determining whether or not a 4th quarter estimate needs to be paid by January 15th, please let me know.

And finally - the scheduling books are now OPEN. If you want a tax appointment with me, you can now schedule it. In-office, phone and virtual appointments are available. Self scheduling is available for weekday appointments. If you are interested in an evening or weekend appointment, please send me an email - [email protected].

We made it! The biggest benefit of opening my office last year was spending more quality time with my children while they still want to spend time with me. With that in mind, my office hours will be significantly reduced over the summer. I will still be available by phone and email! Response time might be a little slower than you're used to, but I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
