I hope everyone is having a good summer. I just want to warn everyone of a scam going on with NYSEG. I just got a call saying that that they were going to shut my electric off because on non payment...gave my a case number and a 800 number to call and verify...so please do not fall for this...they did sound awful convincing...too bad for them I have auto pay and could look it up. Nyseg very rarely call for non payment they will just send you notices. So if someone calls from NYSEG grab your bill call the number on it and report this...we all work too hard for our money only to be scammed out of it!!
