A key tax change for small business owners to know heading into 2026…
The QBI deduction is now permanent, and starting in 2026, the phase-in range expands from $50,000 to $75,000 for most filers and from $100,000 to $150,000 for joint filers. That wider range could allow more business owners to benefit from the QBI deduction!

Potential IRS Penalty & Interest Refund Opportunity

A recent federal court ruling may create refund and penalty abatement opportunities for certain taxpayers who were assessed IRS penalties and interest during tax years 2019–2023.

If you received failure-to-file, failure-to-pay, or estimated tax penalties, you may benefit from filing a protective refund claim. ⏰ Many practitioners are recommending protective claims be considered before July 10, 2026.

Contact us to learn more: https://www.libertytax.com/13523

Important: This opportunity is based on ongoing tax litigation and unresolved legal issues. The IRS has not formally adopted the court’s position, and filing a claim does not guarantee a refund, penalty abatement, or other tax benefit.
