Employers can contribute up to $2,500 per employee each year to Trump Accounts for employees' children. New IRS guidance explains what businesses need to offer this benefit.

Under proposed regulations, these programs would need a separate written plan, a way to verify eligibility and fair access across the workforce. Temporary regulations also add steps families must take before an account can accept employer contributions.

What does today's agricultural economy mean for the equipment industry?

Moore Colson Partner Geoff Braun will tackle that question at The Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association (EMDA) Fall Convention on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the New Orleans Marriott.

During his session, "Agribusiness Capital Spending Outlook," Geoff will examine the current financial health of U.S. agriculture and the trends driving producer profitability. He will also share how those shifts could impact equipment manufacturers, dealers and distributors.

Moore Colson Partner and Vice Chair Chris Arnone recently spoke with the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Amy Wenk about how record diesel prices are affecting Georgia's trucking industry.

Chris noted that while many larger carriers have fuel surcharges built into customer contracts, smart route planning remains key to protecting margins. He expects the added transportation costs to eventually reach consumers through the supply chain.

Moore Colson recently traveled to New York City for The M&A Advisor's 2026 Leadership in Dealmaking Summit.

During the event's gala, Transaction Advisory Senior Manager Patrick Hutchinson accepted his Emerging Leader award. Now in its 17th year, the program recognizes professionals under 40 who have made significant contributions to M&A, restructuring and financing.

Partner Christopher D. Fagan and Director of Business Development Mike Williams were there to celebrate alongside Patrick. The team also connected with dealmakers from across the U.S. and international markets.
