Before you pay a collection, check exactly what’s being reported first. Look at the balance, dates, ownership, and whether the information is accurate.
Send this to somebody who thinks paying a collection automatically makes it disappear
Your balance and credit limit work together to determine your utilization. A $500 balance on a $1,000 limit looks a lot different from $500 on a $10,000 limit.
Save this because utilization is one of those credit lessons you need BEFORE your score drops.
And please stop letting “easy approval” videos have you applying for everything you see. 😂 More applications aren’t always the answer. Have a strategy.
