🇭🇹 Haiti (TPS)

A federal court blocked the termination of TPS for Haitians. As a result, TPS for Haiti is still ACTIVE right now (including work permits). The case has gone up to the U.S. Supreme Court, which:

* Heard arguments in April 2026
* Has NOT issued a final ruling yet
* A decision is expected. by mid–summer 2026

Bottom line for Haiti:
Wr are protected for now, but at risk depending on the upcoming Supreme Court decision.

Big Picture

These cases are part of a broader legal fight over whether the government can end TPS without strong justification.

The Supreme Court decision (expected soon) could:

* Reinstate protections broadly
* Or give the government wide authority to end TPS programs.

We have to vote and let our voices be heard for those who can't speak up for themselves.
