I’ve been a little quiet on here… but not idle.

The mix, demand, and attempted balance of life, personal things, business ownership, and having fun has taken me down!!! And if you’re a business owner, you already know how that goes.

But just because I’ve been quiet doesn’t mean the work stopped.

As we wrap up this first leg of tax season, I’m getting back to showing up, educating, and connecting like I love to do.

And I’m honored to share I’ve been named a Forbes 2026 Best-In-State CPA (Georgia) for the second year in a row.

This doesn’t happen without my team, my clients, and the community that continues to trust me.

It’s not always easy… but it’s always worth it.

I married my best friend.
The one who keeps me grounded, makes me laugh from my belly, and holds me down like only he can.

After 21 years of love and 4 years of marriage, here’s what I know for sure:

💬 Love isn’t enough. You have to actually like your person too. Enjoy their company, their quirks, their presence — and your own. Time together matters. Time apart matters just as much.

❄️ Marriage is like a snowflake. No two are the same. It can be fragile… but when nurtured and multiplied with intention, it can shut the whole world down with its power.

🔄 Throw out the 50/50 myth. Marriage ain’t a scale — it’s a rhythm. It’s not about balance, it’s about harmony. Some days he gives more than I can. Other days I carry it just the same. The point is: we show up and we’re whole. Period!

👂🏾 Repetition is love. If repeating yourself ain’t your ministry, marriage might test your faith 😅. We talk to each other so much….He don’t be listening. I don’t be listening. 😂 But when it counts, we hear each other. And we’ve got each other’s back every single time.

✨ Forget what social media says. Your relationship doesn’t have to look like anybody else’s. Just be yours. Do what works for you. Grow. Evolve. Laugh. Mess up. Repair. Repeat.

God’s grace has carried us. His wisdom has centered us. His presence has covered us.

And after all this time — through it all — I’d still choose him.
