!!!!!PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Every year I preach the importance of choosing the right tax preparer... please please please be very careful with where you go and get your tax return prepared. I'm seeing a lot of ACA scare tactics (Obamacare), last checks refunds (illegal and it's a high interest rate loan), naked girls at grand openings (distractions) and even free Beats Headphones (you're over paying in tax prep fees).
Please don't get so hung up on getting a large and quick refund. Make sure wherever you go you are getting your taxes prepared right. There are a lot of tax preparers that are focused on getting paid and not properly educating you while properly preparing your return... they will used unethical tactics just so you can get a refund...which in returns allows them to get paid.
Trust me, the pains of getting audited are far more worse than the joys of getting a fast and dirty refund.
Finally, at the end of the day you are responsible for your tax return no matter what the preparer puts on it, so make sure it's done right--DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!!!!!
