The Mill Financial Partners

The Mill Financial Partners Helping Business Owners, Attorneys, Affluent Millennials, and Pre-Retirees financially plan to live their fullest lives I was a shy and awkward young kid.

I was a little overweight, underperforming in school, lacking in friends and not on a great trajectory. Then, in fourth grade, I had a teacher that focused in on me. Over and over, through her words and actions, she told me…

“You’re better than this. I am not going to tolerate this performance.”

She forced me to shift at my very core. And I owe her so much. I started to lose the weight, open up

socially, and enjoy life more fully. I went from a chubby kid with little motivation to a nearly full ride to Mercer, where I was active in student government and graduated with dual degrees. Unsure what I wanted to do after graduation, I had settled on going to law school. After several conversations with trusted mentors, I decided to pursue a career that would allow me to build deep relationships, be a resource to those I cared about most, and drive change in the lives of my clients. Becoming a financial advisor meant touching lives in ways that would have deep impact. Stewarding your wealth wisely doesn’t just mean being able to retire early or drive a nicer car, it means investing freely in your family as your kids go to college or your family goes on vacation. It means creating experiences that draw you deeper into relationship with family and friends.

➤ Healthy financial stewardship means having the freedom to live life to its fullest.
