TAX TIP 101: For those of you that have already received or thinking about requesting their PRE-SEASON TAX LOAN from JACKSON HEWITT PLEASE READ:
They Advised that the loan is only a 2% fee when applied for, BUT it's only good for 25 days! If you read the FINE PRINT... It advises that after the 25 day period, the interest goes up to 29%!!! As Many are aware....The IRS will not release the CTC and EITC credits until at least February 15th.You will be subject to payback the loan amount at the 29% interest rate instead of the 2%!! BE SMART THIS TAX SEASON & PLEASE DO NOT GET PULLED INTO THE HYPE!!
