Positions Open at Evolve Financial:

Senior Auditor - at least 5 years of experience auditing nfp's and small/mid-size businesses. Must be able to perform financial statement audits efficiently and independently from the planning through completion phases of each engagement.

Office Manager/Bookkeeper - someone experienced in bookkeeping (both QB's desktop and online) and office management is required. Experience of possessing a similar role at an accounting firm is a definite PLUS.

Salary, benefits, work hours and working from our northern Arlington Heights office versus working remotely are based upon the position and commensurate with experience and skill set.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and surrounding current events, the IRS has extended the deadline for filing 2019 taxes by an extra 90 days. Tax filings for 2019 will now be due on July 15, 2020. This change is effective for both individuals and businesses. There will be no penalties

A new tax regulation effective for the 2016 tax year will help businesses of all sizes accelerate their expensing of certain capital expenditures. The previous threshold for the De Minimis Safe Harbor allowed for businesses to expense all capital expenditures under $500 -- for the 2016 tax year this threshold has been increased to $2,500! That's right, businesses can now expense all fixed asset purchases under $2,500 rather than capitalizing the asset and depreciating it over the asset's useful life!
