First, in my experience as a Credit Manager and Financial Analyst, I always appreciated well-prepared financials. That showed me the owner cared about the business, and the financials could be relied on for my decisions. When I saw errors or flaws in statements, it immediately raised questions about the company. Secondly, I enjoyed giving customers ideas on growing their businesses. Drawing information from their financials was indispensable. The opportunity to use my experience to focus on helping companies with their books was irresistible.
