One thing many people don't expect about retirement is just how much free time suddenly appears on the calendar!
After years of work schedules, meetings, and routines, having every day wide open can feel exciting, but it can also take some getting used to.
Many retirees find it helpful to create a little structure in their week, such as:
✔️ A regular volunteer opportunity
✔️ Lunch or coffee with friends
✔️ A weekly class or group activity
✔️ Time set aside for exercise, hobbies, or personal interests
The goal isn't to stay busy for the sake of being busy. It's about creating a routine that gives you something to look forward to and helps you stay connected to the people and activities you enjoy.
