Social Annapolis is your local resource to help you sift through the muck so you can capture your share of the social marketplace. Tchaico Omawale is the writer, producer, and director of Solace. We spoke a little bit about the film and how real the characters are, the struggles they face and how they mimic some of her own as she was growing up as the child of a UN employee living across the globe. Solace is about a 17-year old girl, Sole, who is sent to live with her grandmother after her father's death. The relationship is toxic and the film examines the struggles between the two as Sole tries to find her way and her crew. It has been banded as a coming of age movie, but deep down, this is so much more! Omawale will be present at the screening and will be hosting a Q&A afterwards!
