Before we invite in the New Year there may be a few things that you can do to reduce your tax liability and prepare for the new tax law changes. Due to the increased thresholds for itemized deductions in 2018 you may want to consider the following:

- Prepay Real Estate Taxes
- Prepay Personal Property Taxes
- Accelerate Charitable Contributions that you may have been planning in 2018 – Cash and Non-cash

With the increased standard deduction fewer will itemize in the coming year, so make those deductions count now. Remember these will need to be done before the ball drops!
