IRS begins 2024 tax season and starts accepting and processing individual 2023 tax returns (full date has not been released yet) in the end of January.
But it is a time to begin preparation to your tax return.

Prepare for the 1040 Extension Filing Deadline

Personal tax return deadline is right around the corner. While those in federal disaster areas have been granted additional time to file, other filers on extension must file by Monday, October 16, 2023, as the standard October 15 deadline falls on a Sunday.
