Personal tax return deadline is right around the corner. While those in federal disaster areas have been granted additional time to file, other filers on extension must file by Monday, October 16, 2023, as the standard October 15 deadline falls on a Sunday.

This year, the IRS is extending the tax return deadline again – this time to May 17. In addition to giving taxpayers more time to file their 2020 federal income tax returns, but only applies to individual federal income returns and tax(including tax on self-employment income) payments otherwise due April 15, 2021, not state payments or deposits or payments of any other type of federal tax.
