Tax Tip : once your return is prepared and before it is sent to the IRS, please look at the bottom of the second page of the 1040.

If you are paying someone to do your tax return......it should not say self prepared.

That is where your preparer's information should be in case something is majorly wrong the IRS can investigate.

Any business that is an LLC, weather you are a sole proprietor or Corporation, partnership or any big business, there is a new form that has to be completed this year. Even if you have abandoned your business but have not filed the property paperwork to close the business this still has to be done. They will fine you $500 a day until it is done.
