This month marks 7 full years I have run my own business. There are changes in the works for a whole new image and website. I have taken on an assistant to help out and hopefully finally increase the client load. I am excited about the upcoming changes!

Well this morning was not a good morning. Last night we lost power for like 30 seconds and apparently it messed up the desktop computer (only thing that was messed up and yes it was plugged into a surge protector, nothing else plugged into it died or got messed up). So now have appointment to drop off Sunday to be looked at to see what is wrong with it, if its fixable, and if not then back to the insurance company to file a claim. UGH !!!

I am currently working on studying to take the two proctored tests for my CB certification along with sending in a couple open book tests to finalize my certification and obtain some CB credits.

I will be working next on getting my CPP certification. Waiting on two reference letters and then going to set up the date to take the online monitored test.

Plan is to have both certifications completed by mid-2021. I will also be working on Tax education to be able to possibly do some additional tax returns this coming tax season.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Just some quick updates of things happening with Country Bookkeeping & Payroll.

I am currently working towards my final 2 tests to get my Bookkeeping Certification, this will be done towards end of September 2020.

I am also going through the process of getting my CPP (certified payroll professional) certification but this is taking longer as we have to work out the experience qualification issues. Hopefully we now have that worked out and can get the references that are needed to be approved to do the testing.

I am also working on finding the best place for me to do online courses in taxation so that I am better suited for doing taxes in the up coming years. I am always looking for new clients, whether just for reconciling accounts, billing customers, payroll, or tax returns.
