The IRS has announced that the tax filing and tax payment deadline has been moved to May 17, 2021 for the United States. If you live in Texas, the IRS previously announced that the tax deadline is June 15, 2020, this date has not changed.

The IRS extended the April 15 tax-filing and payment deadline to June 15 for all residents and businesses in Texas, citing the damage caused by the recent winter storms and power outages in the state.
