Due to the severe weather our phone lines are down! Our internet service is currently down also so we are limited to our work! However the Tech is here to try and get our internet back up and running! We are open for business for signing and payments, as well as drop offs. Please use cash or check to pay for the next day or so, as our credit card machine requires the phone line. Hopefully all services will be back up and running today. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience to our loyal clients and vow that we will have everyone’s work completed by the end of tax season April 18! Our phone lines however will not be back up until next week according to AT&T! So please call my cell or message us through messenger for any questions or concerns!

Good afternoon!

Another year has come and gone, and tax season is once again upon us. Although Covid-19 is still around, we feel that a return to normal is possible and even necessary. Our office is now making appointments for in-person returns. At this time, we will be open from 10am until 6pm Monday through Friday, along with certain Saturdays. If you would rather drop off your paperwork to be completed, we will call you with your results as we did last year. We do have some times reserved for walk-ins, but drop offs or appointments are preferred.

To help you prepare for your appointment, we have attached an updated Client Information Checklist in the comments. Please look over this sheet prior to coming into the office. You may print and complete a copy to bring with you, or complete it online and email it back to us. We will also have copies available in the office when you come in. If you have any questions regarding the checklist or what you need to bring, please call or email us.

In order to keep you and our staff healthy this season, we request that you not come to the office if you are running a fever or feeling under the weather. Please call and reschedule your appointment or utilize our drop-off service instead. Masks are requested but not currently required in the office at this time.

Martin’s Tax Service will be closed Tuesday April 6th and Wednesday April 7th due to the passing of Mr Blenn’s sister Thelma Fulmer Martin! We apologize for any inconvenience! The office will reopen on Thursday at normal operating hours 10 AM- 6 PM!

Due to the ongoing Corona virus pandemic, our office will be operating differently again this year. In order to better serve you, we have created a client information checklist to assist you in gathering your tax documents. We request that you print this form, complete it, and bring it with you. We would like to request you drop off your checklist and all tax documents as soon as possible in order to expedite your electronic return and receive your refund. In order to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission, we will be operating on a drop off only basis this season. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our cherished clients but we feel this is the healthiest path for all of us. Good evening everyone. We wanted to let you know of some changes that the coronavirus has caused with how we do business. As a precaution, we are only accepting drop offs. We hold them in a box for 48 hours per CDC guidelines, and call you for a telephone interview. Please be sure to enclose a working telephone number. When the return is ready, someone will help you sign outside, or we can do electronic signatures. We are uncertain as to how long we will be working. We are asking all clients to have all paperwork to our office by June 15th to have all returns completed. Our current schedule is 3 days a week (Monday,Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm), but depending on the number of customer returns, we may drop to two days a week. If you plan to bring your taxes, please call and drop off returns so we know how to schedule. If you owe Uncle Sam or South Carolina, you still have until July 15 to pay or we can set up an installment agreement. We hope to see everyone soon. Thank you for your flexablity during this time.

Martin’s Tax Service would like to update our clients (New and Old) on our policy and times we will be open during this COVID-19 crisis.

We are excepting Drop-Offs ONLY! This is for the safety of our clients and our staff. We have placed a plastic tote on the deck for all Drop-Offs. Our staff will be on the lookout for each Drop-Off and will retrieve them immediately. We will conduct phone interviews once we begin working on your file and throughout as questions may arise.

Martin Tax Service "The Tax Ladies" would like to give an update on our office hours and policies during this Covid-19 virus!

We are currently excepting Drop Offs only! We are trying to protect our staff and our clients from the spread of this horrible virus!

Please write down any changes in your phone number, address, new drivers license and or social security number if not already on file! We also ask that you mark existing or new clients! If existing please note last year you filed with us!

We are working diligently on getting your tax returns completed in a timely manner! Expect a phone call from our office when they are ready to be signed and paid! Please call if you need to discuss any tax related information with one of our preparers! We are limiting all face to face contact for safety reasons!

If you have or are sick or have been around anyone sick please call ahead and we will meet you outside to sign, drop off, or pay!
