Hey everyone. Our rates for 2025 returns will be $73 for state and federal efiling and $76 when paying by card.

Here are some of the changes for this year.

You can now deduct overtime wages up to $12,500 single,$25,000 if married. You'll need to have documentation on your w2 or your last paycheck stub to get the deduction.

If you bought a brand new car that's final assembly was on the US you can deduct up to $10,000 in interest. Your lender will send you a form on this.

The standard deduction for people over 65 was increased by $6000.

We need someone to answer the phone, make appointments, and give paperwork back to clients. It pays $17 an hour and will be 1-2 days a week from Feb 1-April 15. The days can be flexible if need be.

So it looks like I could use some help this year. I'm looking for someone who would like to work around 10 hours a week give or take. The hours would be in the afternoon with the pay being $16-$17 per hour. Duties would include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and helping clients sign their tax forms and picking up their paperwork. The Medicare Open Enrollment Period is here. There are several changes as well as some new plans available for 2025. We will start being open Monday - Friday from 10-6 starting Monday January 15.

The IRS won't start accepting e-filed returns until January 29 but we can file your taxes so they will be accepted as soon as they start accepting them. Our price this year will be $68 for State and Federal e-filing.

The Medicare Annual Enrollment period has just opened! During AEP I will be in the office Monday - Friday from 12-5 and home appointments are available weekday mornings and evenings.
