You worked hard, you saved smart,
You give yourself a well-earned vacation, and you depart.
Something happens, and you need to rush back,
And you felt that your trip was a total wreck.

While you handle the issue at home,

[THE COST OF A FINANCIAL MISTAKE]

Client bought his dad insurance coverage in 2017, and two years later, client's dad fell down and injured his head, has been in coma since the start of 2019.

$42,439 of bills have been covered, but to the surprise of the client's family, there was a cheque of $10,200 paid for the family to cover for their expenses as they take care of dad. It was because they were paid $75/day for the 114 days' stay in CGH.

What if the policy was not bought, and the client and his brother have to bear the full brunt of the cost above?

What if the policy was bought, but there is no claim for the next 10-20 years?

Both decisions can be perceived as mistakes, the question is:

Doctor gave him $2,000 bill and 38 days of hospitalisation leave,
We gave him $2,000 reimbursement and $1,688 red packet.
