Our client is in commodity trading and freight logistic industry. They are involved in a wide range of commercial activities including commodity trading, chartering, consultancy and ship-owning.

Job Responsibilities:
• Preparation and payment of invoices
• Accounts receivable and payables record
• Posting ledger entries in Quick Books
• Computation and payment of staff salaries on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation of bank statements
• Monthly MIS updates (Management Information System)
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions in excel

Job Requirements:

Human Resource Manager (Safety Industry)

Our client is in safety industry and they are operating from Australia and Singapore. They provide global safety and environment solutions and bring high level of international experience, cutting edge HSE knowledge and products with a local flavour. Along with workplace health, safety and environmental expertise, our client has extensive incident investigation, industrial hygiene, process safety and aviation safety experience that enhances their effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:
The HR function of this role includes achieving the outcomes below, these are not exhaustive and will include additional duties as and when required:

1. Work closely with senior leadership team to develop and maintain an appropriate competency matrix for the team
a. Supporting this would include a set of mandatory, optional and development training needs for each employee. This matrix is developed jointly with the employee and their supervisor.
b. Developing in-house digital systems to implement HR processes.
2. HR Operational Processes
a. Develop and maintain supporting HR processes to facilitate and enable employees and associates carry out their duties and functions to the best of their abilities.
b. Payroll management with vendor and provide regular mark to market salary surveys that adequately reward the employees.
c. Be the impartial arbitrator to help resolve any internal personnel conflict and raise issues to senior management attention.
d. Support senior management with a robust performance review system that continually provides useful feedback to employees.
e. On-boarding new hires and associates to the organization’s culture and processes.
3. Code of Ethics
a. Together with senior management, be the champion for maintaining and communicating organization’s core values and vision.
b. Provide a safe and impartial avenue for employees to confidently provide feedback regarding compliance to the Code of Ethics.
4. Work closely with or HR partners and resource partners to support staff overseas assignment and country to country relocation.
5. Staff recruitment and managing resource partner interphase.
6. Other HR related functions incudes:
a. Contingency planning for staff deployment/repatriation during medical emergency and pandemics.
b. Travel Policy.
c. Insurances for Workers Comp - Adequate coverage etc.
d. Leave planning and management.
e. Team building and benefits program.

Candidates with a strong Social Media content development knowledge will have an advantage. This position will facilitate the migration of organization proprietary content onto a digital platform and create an effective online communication and social media presence that will enhance our value proposition to both our external and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
To succeed, you will need to have prior HR experience and strong interest in digital communication and outreach platforms. Additionally, you must possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You should have the ability to communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to embrace a different point of view for the activities that you are driving.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent
• Strong working knowledge in HR and understanding of local employment laws and practices
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
• HRIS knowledge would be an advantage
• Experience in safety and health would be an advantage
• Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) would be an advantage
• Photo/video editing skills and knowledge is preferred
• Go-getter attitude - with the passion, drive, and the agile mentality
• Excellent command of English and a good eye for visual communications
• Enthusiastic, results-oriented and able to work independently
• Good relational and interpersonal skills, able to partner and work with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and handle pressure well

Trade Finance Manager / Senior Manager (Commodity Trading Industry)

Our client is in commodity trading and they are seeking for an experienced individual who can contribute in the area of trade finance. This role involves full spectrum in trade finance and developing banking relationships, controlling commercial contracts, issuance of bank LC and managing banking facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage of all LC issuances and import/export bills; open account receivables; credit facilities and monitor payment due dates
• Establish and maintain banking relationships, including securing banking facilities and onboarding/offboarding banks
• Liaising with banks for bank line reservation and cash margin top up
• Review and liaise with counterparties on LC issuance and export LC contents, ensuring LC are in accordance with traders’ deal agreements and contracts
• Any other roles assigned

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years related trade finance experience in commodity trading or bank
• Treasury experience in FX is a plus
• Experience or understanding in commodity operations functions would be an added advantage
• Team player, initiative and positive attitude

• Ability to communication in mandarin as to liaise with Chinese counterparts
