Here’s a to our Dinner & Dance, where our Partner and Head of Assurance Raymond Kong made some very important and reassuring remarks about how AI will impact the future of the accounting industry and how FKT will adapt to the changing times! 🙌

AI can process data and automate routine tasks, but it cannot replace the professional judgement, critical thinking, ethical responsibility and human relationships that accountants and auditors bring to the table. Rather than seeing AI as a threat, we should embrace it as a tool that helps us work smarter, improve efficiency and focus on higher-value tasks. The future of accountancy is not about competing with AI, but learning to work alongside it 💪🏻

For many years, the iconic Jumbo Seafood restaurant located at the waterfront area of East Coast Park has been a mainstay for visitors to Singapore and locals alike, since 1987. After all, who wouldn't love some chili crab and other delectable seafood dishes paired with seaside dining? 🦀

After 39 wonderful years, this flagship outlet closed its doors on 30 Sep. As a fellow homegrown brand, we here at FKT are proud to have had Jumbo Seafood as our esteemed client over the past few years.

It is in recognition of this trust and partnership that they invited our leadership team, led by Managing Partner Yin Tong, to be part of the grand farewell dinner for the restaurant! It was also a meaningful gesture as we sponsored a table for the dinner, with proceeds going to Jumbo Seafood's charity of choice.

This past Wednesday, was at the NUS Career Fair at Suntec City! 🙌 It was great to be part of yet another career exploration event by our local IHLs, and to get to meet so many eager young minds already thinking about their career after graduation. 🍦 Making a Difference, One Smile at a Time!

Last Friday, we headed down to Care Corner Student Care Centre (Woodlands) to spend some time with their students as well as students from the Admiralty Centre, as part of our regular CSR initiative! From fun games and activities to an ice cream cart serving up sweet treats, it was an afternoon filled with laughter, joy and plenty of smiles. A huge shoutout to the students for their wonderful performance, the small token of appreciation, and for your hospitality in hosting us!

Earlier in August, we welcomed ISCA Cares Chairman Prof Ang Hak Seng and Jezz Chew to our office! On behalf of ISCA Cares, Prof Ang expressed his appreciation to FKT for our support of ISCA Cares at the ISCA Annual Dinner. FKT was represented by Managing Partner Kon Yin Tong and Partner Raymond Kong.

Set up in 2015, ISCA Cares is a charity set up by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, representing a collective effort of the accountancy profession to give back to society. And it's impact has been substantial - more than $1.5 million in bursaries have been awarded, with a record $328,000 disbursed in 2025 to support students from financially disadvantaged background. As a homegrown accountancy brand, we are proud to be a strong supporter of the ISCA Cares initiative, and give back to the profession and society 🫶🏻

Whether through years of dedicated service, the work done behind the scenes, or the everyday commitment to our clients and one another, every contribution matters. And as our Partner Raymond mentioned in his opening speech, the saying 'Together, we make it happen' reminds us that "our success is not the result of one individual, but rather, from the collective effort of everyone in FKT."

That is why occasions like these are not just about celebrating our achievements, but also about recognising the individuals who have helped shape our firm along the way.
