I remember 20yrs ago when I started work, the coffee was bigger in a transparent glass.
It’s probably around 80cents.
Economical Mix rice 2veg 1majn was a staple for me and it’s $2.70.
Today coffee is $1.40 in coffee shops and probably much more if u take it in Ya Kun or toastbox. And mix rice now hardly goes below $4 for the same.
That’s inflation as we all know.
What about your business revenue? Has it kept up with inflation?
Are you still satisfied with that same $200/mth case and still selling $100k sum assured to protect their critical illness?
Times have changed and there’s a need for you to upsize your cases and start living uncomfortably with your year end targets. Ask yourself: is MDRT target really something you can live well financially in today’s times?
If it isn’t, then why should this be a goal? Or rather, should MDRT now be a minimum standard for you to make it worth staying in this business?
It’s about time to change the perspective so you can have a new mindset to keep growing and keep scaling up.
