Had Duotou clams (a type of razor clam) at PUTIEN Restaurant 莆田菜馆. It was steamed and topped generously with a savory garlic mixture and hot oil. It is only in season from April to July.

Had a wonderful set dinner which comes with soup/appetizer/dessert, a main and a drink for $27.90 +. Great taste and price with nice ambience. It's a cozy place, so I would recommend making reservations.

Had a nice Japanese buffet dinner for Mother's Day celebration at Irodori Restaurant. The salmon sashimi slices were fresh and thick. My favourite is the complimentary mentaiko grilled prawns. After the heavy buffet dinner, went for a walk to burn off the calories with my son. To all mums, Happy Mother's Day!

During this season of giving, I would like to support Baby Shamel (aged 16 months) who has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). He has a condition which will result in his loss of mobility and muscle control. He has difficulty eating and may lose his ability to talk.
