📍 Phase 1: SAR 5,000
The minimum salary for Saudization rises to SAR 5,000, starting 25 April 2027.

📍 Phase 2: SAR 6,000
The minimum salary rises again to SAR 6,000, starting 25 April 2028.

🚨 Saudi Arabia Saudization Update: Accounting Professions

Starting October 27, 2026, the Saudization requirement for accounting professions will increase from 40% to 50% under Phase 2 of the implementation by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD).

📌 What does this mean for your business?

If your company employs 10 accounting professionals, at least 5 must be Saudi accounting professionals accredited by SOCPA, subject to the applicable requirements.

📅 Upcoming Saudization targets:
▪️ October 27, 2027: 60%
▪️ October 27, 2028: 70%

⚠️ Businesses that fail to comply may face penalties determined by the Ministry.
