ATTENTION PLEASE

Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for Tax Year 2021 is expiring on 28 February 2023. Taxpayers who had failed to file Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2022 would not be able to avail benefit of reduce rates of withholding tax from 01 March 2023

Federal Board of Revenue will issue the new ATL on 01 March 2023 on the basis of Income Tax Returns filed for the Tax Year 2022.

The taxpayers who had filed Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2022 after the due date will have to pay ATL surcharge for inclusion of their name in ATL

i. A retailer/shop is linked with any Brand Local/International.
ii. A Retailer in AC Shopping Mall, Plaza or Centre.
iii. A Retailer whose annual Electricity bill exceeds Rs.120,000/-
iv. A Wholesaler + Retailer having Import/Supply business.
v. A Retailer whose have a Shop area of 1000+ square feet.
vi. A Retailer who has a payment machine for Debit/Credit Card.
vii. Or any other person.
