Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited (GATM), one of Pakistanโ€™s leading textile companies, has announced the closure of its export apparel business due to continuous losses.

In a notice to PSX, the company cited rising energy tariffs, higher advance turnover tax, costly fabrics, exchange rate pressures, and stiff regional competition as key factors hurting profitability.
