I entered the insurance industry not just as a career, but because I know how unpredictable life can be.

When I became a mom, my priorities completely changed. I realized that love also means preparing for the unexpected not just for myself, but for my child. Gusto ko may back up ako sa mga "what if's" ko. Because the truth is, having savings, investments, or assets alone isn’t enough. Bakit? If SAD (sickness, accident, death) events happen, (see? "IF"), ano ang safety net? Ano or sino ang sasalo sa'yo? Hahayaan ba nating mawala lahat ng pinaghirapan dahil di natin napaghandaan?

I remember reaching out to someone months ago. His family is doing well, may stable job, a business, and kids. I asked if he and his wife has insurance. He said, "Yes, meron na, 'yun inuna namin." I felt proud and thankful. That’s smart parenting. That’s building a solid foundation while hustling.

That’s why I take this job personally. I’m not here to sell policies. I’m here to make sure that when life surprises you, you have something to fall back on.

Because I’ve seen families suffer financially after losing a loved one or facing illness without protection. And I don’t want that to happen to anyone I can help.

Love is not about how intense it starts, but how consistent it stays.

Minsan akala natin, ang tibay ng relasyon nasusukat sa mga surprise trips, bonggang regalo, o mga pakulo tuwing anniversary.

Pero habang tumatagal, mas nare-realize ko, hindi pala yung intensity ang nagpapatatag sa relasyon. It’s the consistency. Yung mga maliliit na bagay na ginagawa araw-araw.

LDR kami ng asawa ko, at to be honest, mas na-appreciate ko na ngayon yung simpleng tawag niya sa amin ng anak namin.
Yung “Kumain na kayo? Anong ulam niyo?”, paulit-ulit man, pero ramdam mo yung care.
Ako naman lagi kong tinatanong, “Kumusta shift mo? Nakapag-break ka na ba? Kumain ka? Matulog ka ng maaga ha.”
Tapos ikukuwento ko na sa kanya lahat ng ganap namin mag-ina buong araw, kahit yung simpleng kakulitan, kwento ng anak namin, mga bago niyang hilig, kahit anong kwento lang.

Minsan nakakalimutan nating malaking bagay pala ‘yung ganito.
Kasi sanay tayo sa idea na dapat laging may spark, may pasabog.
Pero sa totoo lang, ang nagpaparamdam ng pagmamahal, yung tahimik na presensya. Yung paulit-ulit na pagpili. Yung pagiging andiyan, araw-araw.

Love isn’t proven sa laki ng handa tuwing birthday o anniversary.
It’s in the effort na ginagawa mo, kahit walang audience. Kahit pagod ka. Kahit simpleng araw lang.

Ang tunay na matibay na relasyon, hindi dahil laging exciting.
Kundi dahil laging pinipili, kahit ordinaryong araw lang.

🔑 Tip ni mommy: Track weekly! Pag hindi mo alam saan napupunta ang 50%, baka puro Shopee yarn! 😅

I can recommend two options:
1. Cost cutting - hindi ibig sabihin ng cost cutting ay paghihirap, ibig sabihin lang nito ay pinipili mo kung ano talaga ang mahalaga. Personally, I track our household cashflows. Then, I make adjustments if necessary.
2. Find another source of income - baka may talent ka diyan, gamitin mo. Online selling, virtual assistance, tutoring, affiliate marketing (Kung may internet ka,gamitin mo si FB,TikTok,etc.), or Insurance advisor? Why not? (Flexible time, mommy-friendly pa, PM mo ako if interested ka mommy!😘)

At the end of the day, kahit anong piliin mong karera, walang madali. Walang madali, pero may mas worth it.

Kapag ginagawa mo ‘to para sa pamilya mo, kapag kahit pagod ka na, ginagapang mo pa rin para may future sila:

One minute, princess kaming dalawa. Next thing I know, zombie mom daw ako. Ngayon, captain pirate na ako at maghahanap daw kami ng treasures. 😂

Kahit we wear too many hats in a day like chef, cleaner, teacher, playmate, zombie at captain pirate, GO LANG!
Kasi sa mundong ito ng mga bata, tayo ang bida sa lahat ng kwento nila. 💛
