Financial literacy took a bright leap forward under former President Fidel V. Ramos.

He signed Proclamation 1059 declaring the first week of October of every year as “Life Insurance Consciousness Week.” The document highlighted “services and benefits for financial protection” and how “the life insurance industry is a major contributor to the social and economic development” of the country.

Happy Father's day to all Daddy, Papa, Tatay! Always remember that God's love is tender and compassionate. His love for us did not abandon us in our limitation and sin. He looks upon us like a father with his own children. He sent His only son to bear our sin and opens up to the way of wholeness. Our God proves His love and compassion for us by sending Jesus Christ, he came to save us from all our sins that even if we don't deserve this kind of treatment, he still chose to love and save us. His compassion manifested fully in the life, works and acts of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without the resurrection, the belief in God's saving grace and mercy through Jesus is void. When Jesus rose from the dead, he proved his divinity as the Son of God and his works of atonement, redemption, reconciliation, and salvation. The resurrection was a real, physical raising of Jesus’ body from the dead.
