Not sharing this to brag, but to inspire anyone who’s quietly working hard and trusting the process. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs start from simply showing up, even when no one is watching.

This retreat was more than just a trip, it was a reminder of how far faith, perseverance, and consistency can take you. My journey started as an independent contractor / virtual assistant, working behind the scenes, learning, adjusting, and pushing through challenges that only fellow VAs truly understand. There were long days, sacrifices, moments of doubt but also growth.
Then came the unexpected and life-changing good news: Paul personally shared that I would be invited to the US. Shortly after, I went through the visa process prayed hard, prepared honestly, trusted God fully and by His grace, I passed and received my US visa. That moment alone already felt like a victory.
Being here and experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon, my first luxury train ride, a helicopter tour, a relaxing massage, and meaningful conversations over incredible meals felt surreal. Every detail felt intentional, generous, and unforgettable.
What touched me most was Paul’s message that this opportunity was about appreciation, trust, and recognizing the people who help move the company forward. Hearing that, and knowing that even as a Filipino VA, I was included, seen, and given the same opportunity, meant more than words can say. It reminded me that excellence has no borders and that genuine hard work is truly recognized.
I carry this experience with deep gratitude. I don’t see it as luxury I see it as a blessing and a responsibility. A reminder to stay humble, to work harder, and to give my very best every single day. I may be strong and straightforward (yes, a little maldita 😄), but my heart is grateful and grounded.
Very soon, I’ll start sharing and helping others who want to become VAs or independent contractors guidance, lessons, and real experiences, not shortcuts. Because opportunities like this are not meant to stop with us; they’re meant to be passed on.
