Ended the year 2025 as the Top 1 Rookie! โจ
2025 was not an easy year. It tested my faith, my confidence, and my passion in ways I never imagined. After graduating, I felt lost and struggled with an identity crisis, questioning my purpose and direction.
But through it all, I held on to my faith. I believe the Lord places the right people in our lives and gently leads us to the path He has prepared for usโeven when we feel unsure and broken.
Being a licensed financial advisor and insurance agent means facing rejection daily. While it can be tough, those rejections fuel me to grow, learn more, do better, and continue committing to helping peopleโensuring that I can serve them well and be a blessing to others.
Just to share about my turning point, the moment that truly defined why I wanted to become a licensed financial advisorโcame when my grandfather passed away because we lacked the financial means to provide him with the best health care he deserved. During that painful time, he had no emergency funds or insurance, and we were left helpless in our most difficult moments. That experience deeply changed me and strengthened my desire to help others avoid the same hardship.
I remember telling myself, โIf Tatay had insurance that could have helped us financially, supporting his treatment and paying the hospital bills, he might still be alive today.โ
So I made a promise to myself : I will do everything I can to prevent the same pain from happening again, to my family, my friends, and anyone I have the chance to help. I want to show them the true importance of insurance during times of illness and the value of income protection, because in those hardest moments, savings alone are never enough.
I want to help people so they never have to face the fear of going to the hospital because they cannot afford the bills. I want them to focus entirely on healing, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing there is insurance to protect them and their loved ones in lifeโs most critical moments.
I also want to take this moment to thank my family, especially my mother and my partner. You have been my pillars of strengthโsupporting me from the very beginning of my journey as a rookie, standing by me at every client meeting, and lifting me up whenever I felt lost or unsure. I could never have achieved this on my own, and this award belongs to all of us.
I am truly grateful to be part of Team Venus and the Tuslia branch, where I have received unwavering support and been shaped with the mindset and skills to serve people with purpose and care. I could never have reached this milestone without the guidance of our UM, Mowmy Venus, who has been by my side since the very beginning of my journey, believing in me even when I doubted myself. Your faith in me has made all the difference, and I carry it with me in every step I take.
Lastly, I want to thank myself, for not giving up, for choosing growth over fear, and for refusing to let doubt define my journey. Thank you for holding on to the spark you once thought was lost, for facing the hardest moments of 2025 with courage, and for now standing here to witness the fruits of your persistenceโthe results of being consistent, intentional, and fully committed to the goals you set for yourself. You fought, you endured, and you earned this recognition.
