“Nickha, 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠? 𝐏𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠?”
I get this question a lot, and I understand! Life is busy, and sometimes gusto nalang natin ng “shortcut.” Pero if there’s one thing I’ve learned bilang Financial Advisor, walang one-size-fits-all sa life planning.
Let me tell you a quick story:
May nakausap akong client dati, sabi niya gusto daw niya ng plan worth ₱2M coverage. Sabi ko, “Sige, let’s talk muna.” Sa meeting, I found out na may anak pala siyang 1-year-old, self-employed siya, and gusto niya rin ng fund for education at retirement.
Kung dumiretso agad ako sa proposal, baka nabigyan ko siya ng plan na hindi aligned sa goals at budget niya. But after our short conversation, I was able to give her a plan na pasok sa kaya niya, pero may room to grow as her income grows.
So bakit kailangan pa mag-meeting?
